He's not even playing it. It's a good recording, yes. And he's EXTREMELY good at ACTING like he's playing by staying in the right areas when it happens, but you can tell he's not playing by what happens at the very end.
He picks up the guitar and moves it around towards the camera. His hands are on the strings. If the amp was still on, you would hear that garbled noise it makes when you pick up a guitar by the neck while the amp is turned up.
He doesn't touch the volume knob at any time towards the end. So, to say that he just turned it off at the end before he did that wouldn't make sense. Also, the guitar is still fading out when he is doing that little pokey manuever at the end. |

There is a cord in the guitar, yes.
But you have to hand it to him. He knows something about the guitar or he would not know where to have his hands on the guitar to act like he's playing it. |

Now that I think of it...the most obvious reason it's fake is because of the background music.
There are drums and crap playing in the room. What are the chances that he'd stumbled across a recording of this song minus the guitar so he could "add" it?
Man. We are totally raggin on this kid. But, in a way, he deserves it. |

| Hes playing to a backing track from the original you fucking spastics. He also messes up on a few occasions and you can see he turns the volume down at the end of the clip using his little finger or "pinkie"......American twats. |

he has 3 more songs... and he is moving every finger and pick to the right place in the movie! so why would he be acting if he is a good guitar player?
and yes.. he is playing with background music from an original song.
in a other song played by him (Rock On) you can hear in the intro that he is making some mistakes.. he misses a harmonic sometimes.. no official song would have mistakes, they record on and on untill it is perfect.. THIS GUY IS PLAYING FOR REAL |

I love how people are so quick to declare this kid a fraud because they're too stupid to realize the drums, bass and rhythm guitar are a prerecorded backing track.
As other people mentioned, you can hear him making mistakes -- several times. That's not to take away from the overall awesomeness of the performance, but if you know absolutely anything about playing guitar you would not be rushing to call this a fake. |

That was excellent. Great choice of music, intuitive improvisation, in short, a very talented musician. I hope we will be seeing more of him.

| i been playing guitar for 11 years that kid wasent fakeing take a look at his finger movements on the fretboard and his picking hand any good guitarst knows that to play like hat you would have to know what your fucking doing and by the looks of it this kid knows ehat he's doin,i bet at eleast 95% of the people who say its fake dont even know ow to hold a guitar so shut the fuck up |
