| People in sportscars are a hazard, witnessed it far too many times now. |

Your sources are unreliable, but their information is fascinating.
Make note: "People in sportscars" differs greatly from sports car enthusiasts. Lots of people jump into a sportscar without having a hint of what it's all about. I drove sportscars for many years and had one accident. That was when I got hit in the rear while I was waiting for a stoplight. I'll admit to having a near epiphany shortly after I nearly killed myself while believing as 99% of drivers do, that they can drive. After that, I learned to drive. I was a member of two sports car clubs. Ralleyist, ralley master, numerous times. Assisted in the formation of national racing flag and communication standards, and co-wrote regional and international ralley rules and regulations, most of which are in use today. This only skims my sportscar resume. I can tell you this from my experience. Sports car >ENTHUSIASTS< accident rate is far below the average despite most of them driving faster than non enthusiasts, (as a whole), and way less than: "people in sportscars."
