The chemical one with foil is very dangerous...mixed it can make mustard gas.
They explode because of the air expanding within it creates so much pressure that it explodes. Kinda like blowing up a baloon to where it pops (but not quite).
I recommend dry ice bombs to all. |

Dry ice bombs is really old school, i used to make a few good ones some 12-15 years ago. But i refined it a bit, and mixed the water with soap. The gas from the ice trapped itself in the bubbles and popped once reaching the top of the container, so it worked like a delaytion... It was expecially good for glasscontainers if you wanted to gain some time to get behind cover.
Stuff that goes BOOM! has always been a passion of mine |

| With Drano and tinfoil it just creates a gas that expands and KABOOM the bottle explodes. I'd use a thick plastic bottle Gatorade, Powerade, etc... Just don't be anywhere near it when it goes off, if its in your hand when it does you can kiss a few fingers bye bye. |

Hey, If any of you value your finger's
Dont listen to any of the above about using glass or gatorade bottle's. They blow up almost as soon as you tighten the cap.
Its a mistake i made, the gatorade or powerade bottles DO NOT EXPAND as they are made out of hard plastic and they just blow, |

| They expand, i've done it plenty of times. It takes at least 15 seconds for the tinfoil to react to the chemicals. Don't be such a pussy. |

Guess you rank in amongst the people who never thinks things through huh... I wouldnt recommend people to play with anything explosive. And if im not certain about what im doing, im steering the fuck clear from it...
Many things in the bang-bang business is rather logical, and if your brain is reasonable and works properly. All you have to do is to use it, take your time, do some research... For instance..Glass doesnt flex that's right, that's why i used soap, and another solution i just pulled out of the hat. Would be to use a minimum of water and larger container.
I could count the ways on what you shouldnt do, but that list would turn into a novel... And the list would probably also remind everyone of those sheets we get when we bought, say a new DVD player, where they point out that you shouldnt poor liquid in your machine, amongst other obvious things. |

LMAO, im just telling you from exp from a non expanding powerade bottle, I would'nt use a glass container.
And beside's 2 liter's and regular soda bottles work better, even if you could get the gatorade/powerade bottle out of your hand. they expand alot.... and have alot more pressure & boom.
This!.... Is My BOOMSTICK!!

I let others do the misstakes so i can learn from them from a safe distance
As for glass and powerade... I try a regular soda bottle the first time, mix some water with soap say 50/50 and then add the ice. screw the cap on and watch how long it takes before anything happens.
It's foolproof, when i did it with a glassbottle i had time to crawl to cover if i wanted to.
This!.. Is me YAWNING!
guess it's time for bed here. |

My favourite has always been the balloon bomb. Fill a balloon with propane/butane and tape a fuse to the side. Simple but fun. For a perfect slow burning home made fuse, take a little warm water and mix in potassium sulphate (salt petre) untill it stops disolving cut full length strips of kitchen paper (Bounty is best) soak them in the solution and then roll them up and dry them. Burn slow but hot. |

So I'm an asshole? I can live with that. I get paid a lot of money for what I do and I get the satisfaction in knowing that our troops have the equipment and knowledge they need. Oh and have lots of fun doing it.
