Steve Irwin

Most of you will have woke to hear the sad news about "The Crocodile Hunter". It's such a shame, he was a great guy in my opinion. Many tribute videos are popping up all of the internet most of them can be found here.

	Can't belive he's gone, I was at his zoo last month and was watching a presentation and now he's gone, I feel sorry for his kids aswell, his son Bob is only 2 or so and wont even remember him in person and his daughter will be heart broken aswell as his wife. At least he was enjoying his last moments.

	when i heard about ths i was at work, i look after people with learning difficulties, one of them came up to me and said steve irwins dead a sting ray killed him! i was like yeah whatever i thought it was one of the silly things they come out with, i couldnt believe it when i saw it on the news! Very well said there mate... I'm sure that Steve probably felt completely safe playing around with that stingray... I mean there is only one other person on record known to have died in Australia from a stingray attack, at St Kilda, Melbourne in 1945... Unlike the hundreds that have died from venomous snakes and crocodiles that Steve handled on a daily bases ... I have read that stingrays only attack when they feel threatened... And we all know that Steve was very good at making a critter feel threatened... lol... I'm thinking they probably have this attack on film, but I doubt we will ever see it... He had his 2 main passions in life. To look after and conserve animals. And to love his family. He followed in his dads footsteps. Im sure anyone in Australia that watched Andrew Denton last night will now what I mean. It was a great loss, he was a great man and will always be remembered.
