The rumor that Google was buying YouTube was actually true. Google paid $1.65 billion in an all-stock acquisition.

	I bet they fuck it up, start charging mother fuckers to open an account or some shit. I remember back in early 2005, YouTube only had a few hundred accounts, in just under two years its gone crazy. Well done to the developers....bastards.

I heard that collegehumour.com was sold a few mnths back for $20 million due to the amount of hits it got - valuable advertising space. Advertising on the internet is the next biggest thing, its taking off proper.

	Yeah, I've had some pretty decent offers, but I'm a bit worried at the moment, traffic has dropped in the last few days. Think it's time for another make over... I get bored of seeing it the same I want a rating section so that you guys can upload videos and then other people rate them. Once they've been rated enough times they automatically get posted on the front page. Maybe Google could lend me a hand..... I'll offer them shares!

	Iol, I'd love to work for google, the owners have the best business ethos going - basically have fun and then do some work later when you feel like it, brilliant. The rating system sounds good, am always up for something new. I prefer the way this site looks and operates to any other media site because of its slickness and quickness when opening pages and watching videos, not many come close. Im sure if you give it another make over it will be even better - one can only progress... Let me know if you float YDM, I may be interested in a few shares myself...

The rating section thing sounds interesting... And it might very well stimulate traffic... But I wouldn't hold my breath on that help from Google thing... Unless you already happen to know someone on the inside there company or something like that... Don't get me wrong, I loves me some Google... There my home page, I use them every day... But I just some how don't think they have time to be messing with little old Scott down there at yourdailymedia...
