what makes people even want to teach a 9 year old to have sex and then SELL her for it? Absolutley fucked. I'm in a Global Business class and was learning about developing countries and the such. Ethics was the topic and it was a hypothetical of minors working in hazardous conditions and the changing laws that are occuring to have an age minimum in textile work.
So what would you guys do if you set up a textile factory in Thailand and had to fire young childern such as these girls because they are underage? The only other place for these youngsters to work would be in the sex industry...it true tht this happens and the governments can't/won't set up aid to help orphans that you often see in videos like this... its a hard question. |

It's pretty damn easy for us who sit in our coozy warm rooms to pass judgement over people who live in a state like these poor people do. And say "kill them, bomb them, sick fucks, blah blah blah".. That's anger speaking.. The immidiate respons we meet things with that we hate to see or hear.. Something that we dont have in our rich (and in comparison) troublefree countries... But you have to understand one thing... These people who live in a constant state of poverty and hunger, dont have any time over to philosophy on morality and what is right and wrong.. They only have one option, and that is to do what is necessary to live for the moment, and worry later.
Some poor people out there has an honest trade, being carpenters who would have had a great pay in the west if they had been employed somewhere... But there are different kinds of poor people, those who are more lucky than others... The children in this video for instance, are caught in a bad circle.. It's often orphans who grew up to become leaders of other orphans. Some of them might have been on the streets as prostitues once themselves, and they dont know any other trade or way of making their living.. They live the only way they know how.. And they also become emotionally detached by living like they do... They were born, and might have been given away, or sold by their parents. And ended up amongst other orphans to stay alive, and when you are in a world like that.. You either adapt, or you die.
They mentioned 30$ in the video, which is a fortune down there and would sustain MANY people for a long time. Sadly though, much of that money as spent on drugs, a classic escape from reality for people who live like these people, and the homeless in our countries.
It's a cold, dark and brutal world out there. Beyond anything that most of us can understand if not seeing it for ourselves... I say, hug your loved ones. And thank your ancestors for what you have. |

You have to look at the bright sight of this, at least the young girls aren't forced to do it. They don't have that cry-look on there face/ aren't getting food/ are locked in a cage, all that wierd stuff, and believe me..there are plenty of girls that have all those circumstances!..So in that way, they have the advantage of having a less fucked up life, still bloody wrong but nog that bad.....

You can't accuse this kid for exploiting other children, when he is keeping them alive the only way he knows how. You have to make an effort to try to understand his reality he lives in, without letting your reality come in between... And you also learn quite quick that crying isn't going to help you.
You have to go at the root of the problem... The people who have put up a demand on the child prostitutes. They are the ones we should hang... Tyr.. I think I can see where you are commin from on this whole thing... but I dont know .. I mean yeah they are just dooin what they can to survive... but I dont think it is really fair to say that it's JUST the rich pedophiles that are the problem... Wow some heated debates on this post. All i'm going to add to the comments is the fact that I have two kids, my daughter is 8 and my son is 5. I watch out for their safety as best as i can. Athough i'm divorced at an early age. ( 31 ) i still protect them any way any how. If i were to hit rock bottom and lived on the streets in sheer total poverty i would still protect them with every last drop of blood in my veins.
