Cheep stuff probley only stops 9mm but the good stuff can stop Ak rounds easy. O and btw the SVD sucks >.< Its only a modifired AK47 with extended barrel scope smaller mag no auto mode and so forth. Just like alot fo russian weapons there all near made from another.

It's not a modified AK.. It was built from scratch by dragunov in the late 60's, with the exception that he borrowed certain functions from kalashnikov when he constructed it, the trigger mechanism and the carachteristic shot saftey device, that's the relation the guns have with each other... 	I think the name on the video should have been bullet proof glass, because to say that it was someone trying to take out our troops is an oversight from what the video showes, It could have well have been a test to see if the glass works. then made to seem like a shot from someone else to help support the war.
