Damn I thought that the Aston Martins were much bigger than that, but seeing people up next to it, it looks small. |

Unfortunately, you are right. However a little bumping with the hay bails, surely didn't do that much. Thats why they are there. |

| Yes cause he wasn't to fast (about 80 mph).He turned too soon to the right before the corner and too suddenly that's why the car sidesliped. But he was too fast for the condition of the track. |

They're known as sports cars, and most of the real sports cars are small. It broke my heart when I had to pass on a $500. oppertunity to buy a gorgeous ivory 1938 BMW with a front mounted (Shorrock) supercharger, because I couldn't fit my 6' 4" (193 Cm) frame behind the wheel to drive. I did get a ride in it and the supercharger SCREAMED when engaged. The guy that bought it, painted it chartrusse (yuck) and raced it SCCA for three years sucessfully against way newer cars. Sigh! |

| It's just a stupid car. If you have the money to buy that, you have the money to not care about it |

To Simon L: Funny answer,
but I never tried to screw a Trans Am.
Re: "STUPID CAR" To a 'car buff,' with the exception of a transportation car, it's never "just" a car. Two of my all time favorite cars were Porsches. I had a 3 year love/hate relationship with a 911 that I couldn't afford, but, it was never, EVER just a car. It handled like a spridget at low speed and like an XKE at high speed, but I had a running fight with the companies quality control for a year and a half before they did damn little toward re-painting the front end, when the whole car needed it. Despite this, it was never EVER; JUST a car- ever!
Your statment compares a thoroughbred with a plow-horse.
You don't know how much of a mans investment is caprice and how much is love.

BULLSHIT! A buddy and myself were hired as consultants by a major race track just being finished, just to prevent that very thing from happening. We made our report, then they ignored it and put a spectator area right in a spot we recommended being fenced against spectators. Shortly after the track opened a whole family was killed (with others). Those people didn't go there to take their chances. They had reason to believe the track took reasonable precautions. They did. AFTERWORDS! |

It looks small because it is small, and because it's not a DB9 but an Aston Martin V8 Vantage! |
