POP! Here goes the illusion.
While it is a large lens, it's not nearly as large as it looks. It has a lens hood mounted reversed in the storage position, over the top of the lens body.
The newer series Canon Ultrasonic lens like I use is a great lens with built in image stabilizer and a super fast & quiet autofocus. With it's image stabilizer it no longer needs the tripod base like the one in the photo as it can be hand held indoors, at much slower shutter speeds..  |
