	He was trying to do a military rappell, called "down under" or something of the like... basically you rap backwards and he fucked it up because he's a dumbass, and not even wearing a helmet makes him even dumber. I climb without a helmet from time to time, but to attempt something like that and not be wearing one gets no sympathy from me!

When I was boat racing the damn helmet came off every time I flipped, and I never knew what good it was supposed to do. Nothing like a modern motorcycle helmet. I imagine a really secure helmet would be too hot and restrictive for summer climbing.
