I'm no criminal but I could have thought of something slightly more threatening than a palm tree.

How do we know he was robbing the store? He could have just been saying...
"Hey!! I Need potting soil for this tree!!! See the palms? They are dry!! Look at the Palms!!! I need a better potting soil!!, and a little bit of peatmoss as well please..Here, come help me hang it outside your store....grab that chair please"
