Bigger cars aren't weaker, they just wreck better due to mass. A truck vs civic, a civic's gonna lose every time. A truck vs brick wall... well, that's another story.

BTW hummers are the safest road car that was ever produced. they're solid inside unlike the junk cars the rest of us drive

Then again the hummers primary role was to traverse terrain, and that it does more effeciently than any other regular car. As for your junk car, well. If it has escaped you i could fill you in on a little something here. They have gone through hundreds of crash tests, and are meant to crumble up like a tin can, they do just that to absorb the energy in the collison. Now a solid and armoured car is probably the worst thing you could sit in during a crash, as the energy from the impact is transferred to you.

	I'm well aware of the crumple design, but you seem to have no idea that as far as safety on the road goes a hummer to a car is about the same as a car to a bike.
